Based on this 2014 survey, 7 out of 10 Americans brush their teeth twice a day (as they are supposed to). Therefore, we can conclude that of the estimated 318.9 million people living in America, 223.23 million (223,230,000,000) Americans brush their teeth twice a day. Our own survey estimated that, while roughly 90% (200,907,000,000 people) are satisfied with their current toothbrush, an approximated 64% (142,867,200,000 people) would be more inclined to floss if it was dispensed out of the bottom of their toothbrush and, as a result, more convenient.
In addition, we found that 50% of Americans suffer from gingivitis and that 40% of Americans lack dental insurance. Oral hygiene is an issue for many of the Americans that fall into these categories. A product that aids people with taking care of their oral health will have a positive impact on these people's lives.

summary
While there are patents that show products similar to ours, our design and specifications are unique. There are many products in use by hundreds of thousands of people that promote good hygiene, but ours is (hopefully) going to combine two of these products and add efficiency to peoples' daily routines.
